Privacy Policy

1. General terms

1.1. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy“) apply when you use the service Ella (the “App” or “Ella”) and any other services provided via app or web by SBIC AB, reg. no. 559028-2876, (the “Company” or “us”). Terms defined in the General Terms and Conditions are used also in this Privacy Policy.

1.2. This Privacy Policy describes what kind of personal data we collect, the reason for collecting personal data, who has access to the personal data and how we protect the personal data. We are continuously reviewing the Integrity Policy in order to secure that it fulfils our high requirement for personal data protection and security. Any change to the Privacy Policy will be published on our website (www.myella.com) and/or in the App, where you can always find the latest version.

2. Collecting personal data

2.1. Personal data is information that can be referred to a person, e.g. your name, personal identification number, card number, e-mail address, postal address etc.

2.2. We are processing your personal data for the purpose of offering, administration, developing and adapting of Ella and its functionalities, administration of the customer relationship, and in order to fulfill security and other legal requirements. The data may also be used for market and customer analysis, market research, statistics, business follow-ups and business and methodology development. All collection and processing of personal data is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

2.3. We may further process personal data with the purpose to provide better individual services and offerings. Personal date may for example be analysed with the purpose of providing direct marketing of information, offerings or recommendations of our products and services.

3. Privacy and security measures

3.1. The protection of your personal information is important to us. To keep the personal information that we handle secure, we have therefore taken comprehensive technical and organisational security measures. We further guarantee an adequate level of protection of your personal data, in that we handle your personal data only within EES.

3.2. We may transfer your personal data if it should be required by law or order, or to protect or defend the Company, our partners or the rights of users.

4. Access to features in your device

4.1. In order for all functionalities in the App to fully work and in order to give you as interesting and fun experience as possible, the App may need access to other functionalities of your device. We will not under any circumstances use your personal data for any other purposes than as set out in this Privacy Policy and will not provide your personal data to anyone without your approval.

4.2. The App has features where the intention is to provide information to you at certain times or occasions. In order for these features to work, you will have to accept that the App sends you push-notifications.

5. Use of links

5.1. Note that Ella may contain links to websites hosted by third parties. If you visit these websites, this Privacy Policy does not apply. We take no responsibility over how these websites process personal data.

6. Rights

6.1. You have, according to current law relating to personal data, the right to request information once a year, free of charge, about any personal information relating to you and held by us, regardless of how this information is gathered. Requests for such information must be made in writing.

6.2. If your personal data is handled in opposition to current laws relating to personal data you have the right to ask that the personal data is corrected, blocked or deleted. You also have the right at any time to recall an approval regards the handling of your personal data. Note however that a recall of this type will mean that you can no longer use the App.

6.3. Lastly, you may contact the Swedish Data Protection Authority if you have any complaints in relation our processing of your personal data.
